STILT® Slate
For the single sheet or slim gathering.
The STILT® Slate displays a single sheet: a print, a photograph, a document or a thin gathering. It works modularly with our Stands and Sills.
Each Slate is cut to the size of your document and fitted to a stock Stand of the appropriate size, and comes with a pair of STILT® Sills.
STILT® Slate
What you need to know
Bordered or flush. Choose a comfortable visual frame around your document, or let the document fill the Slate edge to edge.
70° or 55°. Choose the angle your Slate stands at. At 70° the sheet sits close to upright and reads across a room much as a framed work would. At 55° it sits lower and leans back which suits a shallow case, a viewer looking down and a sheet with minimal rigidity.
Send us the dimensions of your document and tell us whether you would like it bordered or flush. We will do the rest.
A Slate will take a print, a photograph, a drawing, a map, a deed or a single manuscript leaf.
It is equally suited to printed ephemera including broadsides, tracts, prospectuses and playbills and to slim gatherings such as pamphlets.
