Our Lectern is the natural next step in the STILT® product line. With your book’s spine and hinges already well supported, it’s time to tilt your book toward the world.

Features

Anti-slip surfaces

All of our Lecterns feature an anti-slip layer on the base to keep them securely in place on the table, as well as on the surface to ensure a firm grip with the Cradle.

Ledge support

All of our lecterns come equipped with a STILT® Ledge, designed to be interchangeable for compatibility with a wide range of book thicknesses.

Weight add-ons

Our STILT® Weights are compatible with our Cradles when mounted on a Lectern. The anti-slip base layer keeps the weights securely in place along the margin of your book.

Collapsible

Like all STILT products, the Lectern folds flat for easy storage and transport when not in use.

Lectern Angles

Choose between a 15º/25º or a 35º/45º Lectern. We can also make bespoke forward titling angles at your request.

Choose between 6 standard book sizes that conform to our Exhibition Cradle sizes: 16mo, 12mo, octavo, quarto, folio & elephant.

Things to know about our Lectern Sizes

Standard Book Sizes

16mo: 10x17cm (4 x 6 3/4”)
12mo: 13x19cm (5 x 7 3/8”)
octavo: 15x23cm (6 x 9”)
quarto: 24x30cm (9 1/2 x 12”)
folio: 30x48cm (12 x 19”)
elephant: 37x58cm (14 1/2” x 23”)

All of our lecterns are purposefully designed to support two forward-tilting angles—either 15º/25º or 35º/45º. They are size-compatible, meaning an octavo lectern of any angle will support an octavo exhibition cradle of any angle. This ensures optimal strength, elegance, and modularity.

For especially long or heavy books, we recommend selecting a lectern one size larger than your book. If you're unsure which size is right, feel free to contact us for guidance.
