Our lectern is the obvious next step in our product line. Now that the spine and hinges of your book are well supported, its time to tilt your book towards the world.
Features of our lecterns
Anti-slip surfaces
All of our Lecterns come with an anti-slip layer on the base to secure it to the table as well as on the surface for a stronger attachment to the Cradle.
Ledge support
All of our Lecterns include a STILT® Ledge. These Ledges are interchangeable to accommodate most any book thickness. Consider accessorizing with a variety of Ledge sizes.
Weight add-ons
Our STILT® Weights can be used while your Cradle is tilted forwards onto a Lectern. An anti-slip base layer secures the Weights in place in the margin of your book.
Collapsible
Like all of our products here at STILT, the Lectern folds flat when not in use.
Lectern Angles
Our Lecterns currently come in three forward tilting angles: 20º, 35º and 50º. Please inquire should you require a bespoke forward titling angle.
Lectern Sizes
Our Lecterns come in 7 standard book sizes: 16mo, 12mo, octavo, quarto, folio, elephant and Atlas.

16mo: 10x17cm (4 x 6 3/4”)
12mo: 13x19cm (5 x 7 3/8”)
octavo: 15x23cm (6 x 9”)
quarto: 24x30cm (9 1/2 x 12”)
folio: 30x48cm (12 x 19”)
elephant: 37x58cm (14 1/2” x 23”)
All of our lecterns are purposefully designed to hold one forward tilting angle. They are size compatible, for example an octavo Lectern of any angle will support an octavo cradle of any angle. This maximizes on both strength and elegance.
For particularly long and heavy books, we advise you to choose a size larger than your book size. Contact us if you need help finding the right size for your book.
