Designed for both practicality and aesthetics, our Stands fold flat for effortless transport and compact storage—ideal for traveling exhibitions and book fairs.
As with all our exhibition products, each Stand is proportioned slightly smaller than the book it supports, ensuring full stability for securely bound volumes while highlighting the artistry of the cover.
Available in two forward-tilting display angles, 50° and 70°, allowing for dynamic and varied presentation layouts.
Size Choice
Our off-the-shelf Stands are available in a range of standard book sizes. Average dimensions for height, width, and thickness are listed alongside each size. If your book’s measurement exceeds our recommendation, we suggest selecting the next size up.
Our weight guidelines are designed to ensure optimal performance when using Stands. If you are working with a particularly heavy volume, please contact us for advice.
For oblong books, we recommend ordering a Lectern of the same size as your oblong book. Alternatively, we can produce a bespoke oblong Stand to fit your needs — please get in touch at info@stiltbookcradles.com
Angle Choice
• 55º ideal for lower exhibition shelves and table tops.
• 70º ideal for chest height and higher exhibition shelves.
Surface Material Choice
• Choose between 3 surface materials:
• Slip-resistant Field Surface: High-friction, durable contact surface for open-air applications
• Slip-resistant Museum Surface: High-compliance, medium-friction contact surface for delicate objects.
• Smooth Museum Surface: High-compliance, low-friction contact surface for reposition-able object support, friable binding materials, dust jackets and metals.

Assembly
All Stands include clear assembly instructions and feature precision magnetic attachments for quick, secure setup.
Components Included
All Stands include a Ledge, proportioned to the size of the Stand — larger Stands come with thicker Ledges, smaller Stands with thinner ones. If your book happens to be unusually thick or thin for its size, we’ll gladly exchange the Ledge for a better fit — just get in touch with us.
